Shotbeak: Twitter lists: Tagging humanity

Been thinking about how we can profile a person's tacit knowledge for a while now. This is actually an interesting approach, as the aggregate of the lists that a user is in could provide a rough estimate of what his/her tacit knowledge may be.

This is still far from comprehensive, but it does offer a different perspective as, as you mentioned, this is not the person profiling himself... other people are doing it.

Could actually be interesting to compare others' perception of you with your own.

Another interesting side-effect is that popular people get listed and more "defined", like Mashable - http://twitter.com/mashable/lists/memberships.

It is an interesting concept. I wonder if it can be extrapolated to something like quantum science. The more observers, the more defined a "state" is, if you get what I mean.

Anyway, will definitely be interesting to see where this goes!
